East Coast Yoshinkan Aikido - Makotokan Dojo, was formed in 1997 at the
direct encouragement of the Honbu Dojo (World Headquarters) and
the Aikido Yoshinkai Foundation in Japan.

The Makotokan is an internationally recognized Dojo registered at the Honbu.

The Makotokan Dojo offers traditional Yoshinkan Aikido classes in Halifax and Kingston, Nova Scotia, Canada.
